Setting up Journal Alerts

Here is a demonstration of how easy it to set up a search or journal alert using the Tennessee Electronic Library.
The reason you may want to set up a journal alert is to automate the research process so that when new articles from available from specific publication, they can be sent directly to your email or added to your RSS feed. This is particularly helpful to keep current during busy travel seasons. 

Here is a step by step guide. 

Although this demo is focused on Gale resources, you can easily create a search alert or RSS feed from the Proquest newspapers including the Tennessean, Commercial Appeal and Knoxville News Sentinel so you see any articles that contain those search terms in those Tennessee papers
